I have the same question:
What rt4x4 is refering to is the directions that come with the GM fog light kit (puts factory fog lights on a vehicle that did not come with them originally) the directions state:

"14. Insert the fog lamp wiring harness terminal into D6. Push until it clicks into place (Figure Q)."

And of coarse GM in their wisdom clearly shows in "Figure Q" a diagram of the connecter labeled with columns F to A and rows 1 to 6!

Remember they told you to hook a wire to pin D6!!

"Figure Q" has a circle drawn around pin A3 with a line going over to the label "FOG LAMP TERMINAL" ?????

OUR question is D6 OR A3?? DO THEY WANT YOU TO DO LIKE THEY SAY---OR DO LIKE THEY SHOW????

(p.s. THIS IS FOR rt4x4 ONLY---if you look at Fig Q--the circle is actually around A3 not A4, right? Trust me folks you'd have to be looking at the diagram to get it!!!)

BOTH OF US THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!
RONDE

p.s.s. This question is the only one keeping me from installing this kit!!

My schematic shows D6.

most of the trucks all ready have all the wiring in place. I don't have fog lights (yet)
but all wires are there.

I Put The Kit In Today---it Took Me Awhile--the Correct Terminal Is D6! I Put The Whole Thing On And Wired It Before I Put The Air Dam Back On! Turned The Lights On And They Worked!!! No Programming Needed!! Am I Lucky Or What??

Hardest Part Was The Air Dam, Getting Those Fasteners Open And Closed Takes Time. And Yes You Need To Lift The Front End If You Are Full Figured (fat) (like Me).

The Ground Wire Gets Fastened With A 6mm X 1 Inch Bolt With A Star Washer. (you Need To Buy These! And Yes It's Metric! This Bolt Is The Same Thread Size As The One They Give You To Mount The Fog Lights Only Shorter, So I Took It With Me To The Hardware Store To Make Sure I Got The Right Size.)

I Didn't Use Some Of The Clamps They Included. (black Ty-raps Instead) I Put The Air Dam On Last--you Need Both Hands So You May Need Help!

Hope This Helps!!
