i was going over a log i had and no real running problems but trying to get used to log/tune views. so i was running the log while watching the tune and some spots between 0%and 7% throttle the main mm3 was at o ms. okay understand, but then i would look at the throttle based quantity and it was supposed to be 15mm3 not 0mm3. but then there is table b0740 minimum throttle based injection quantity being 10, but the log shows 0.

well to sum it up basically when i hit the go pedal in traffic, all the values are normal, i let off the pw and mm3 drop to 0 until i hit 12 mph, then they go back to normal. what is making my readings drop to zero while slowing down, but normal again at 12 mph and slower? i am just real confused and losing it:(

deceleration fuel cutoff... There is a sub-folder inside the "Fuel Injection" folder

i would agree but the rpm low limit is 850 set in the dfco and 10 mph. when this happens it is down to 685 rpm and 12 mph. at this point the rpm limiter should have shut off, but hasn't. unless it doesn't have to meet all conditions.

Mine log shows the same thing yours does.

I'm not sure we have all the info here to know what the ECM is doing under this condition. There may be more tables to be had for this like there were for idle timing.

Also slightly off topic the B0729 table doesn't seem to do anything at least with my DSP5 OS.

probably the same issue. b0729, max quantity cold mine are all 120mm3, and my 0728 are all set to 100. just a limiter. do you ever reach the mm3 that it is set at and it not stop it.?

My B0728 is set to 120mm and my B0729 is set to 60mm. From what I understand the fuel volume should be limited to the B0729 table until the ECT reaches the B0730 setting. Mine never is limited. It goes straight to 100mm every time even at 100deg ECT. I need to try this with just a stock tune I think to verify it's not an EFILive DSP OS issue.

As far as the issue you brought up I'm thinking about doing the same thing and just running the original OS to see if it still does it.

I think it's based on the RPM of the engine. When you are driving and let off the peddle the RPM's are above idle and the fuel shuts off until the engine RPM goes to a certain point and the injectors turn back on to keep the RPM at a specified idle RPM so the truck doesn't stall out. How does that theory sound?
