I havent seen my low fuel light come on and iu have gone as far as i dare to go on E and fill up it takes about 22 gllns to fill has anyone seen or heard of problems.could the bulb be bad?

Mine comes on close to E. The DIC says I have about a 26 mile range. I think you have a 26gal tank like I do. Your light will go on when you have about 2gal's left.

Mine comes on and it takes about 23 gallons to fill it up.

Mine starts coming on around 1/4 tank.

Mine comes on at 1/8 of a tank religously. Takes around 23 gals. to fill up at that point

I think you just might not be going far enough to ignite the light....Also I dont believe there is an actual bulb in there, I think it is one that "steals" light into a beam...but dont quote me on that. The pic might give you a better idea..

Mine's only come on once, and it was under these same circumstances.

Light comes on when needle is on empty, 23 gallons to fill every time.

Mine comes on when the needle is on E and the DIC says Fuel Range LOW. Typically can get 22 Gallons in a 24 gallon tank

mine 23.5 gals. see if you can get 25 gals out of her before it sputters....roll the dice and take your chances..lol

Was in my buddies when the dic read "0" for 20 miles before we found a station .

Thanks for the replies,I really dont want to run out until gets warmer out and i will carry a 5 gaLlon can with me incase.I also see the light come on when i first start truck so the light works but it could be a bad sender etc Thanks again i will let ya know what happens soon coause i dont like not knowing how far i can or cant push it lol

Oh the dic i will check also forgot i have that did i ever mention i love this truck way better than the 88 gasser lol

Mine too although I filled up right after the light came on and put in 31 gallons.

my truck said low fuel range. i got to the gas station and put in like 23.5 gallons. so i still had like 2 gallons left which translates into roughly 20 miles on the highway.
