Well, I have a edge w/attitude with hot setting stock tranny and fass system. I am thinking of switching an have heard alot about ppe chips are they really that good? Is the HP numbers true? Can I get good power with stock tranny without putting into limp. I do haul a trailer for work which weights about 4-5K. I would like a new tranny and know that Eric Merchant is the man for the job! $$$ is the problem!!! But at what point due you need the billet input & output shaft(hp/towing). As far as the fass system I bought a 150 gph pump with a 95 gph spring but my fuel mileage is worst then what it was before it installed(was getting 15-16 mpg now it's about 14-14.5mpg). The reason for the bigger pump and spring combo was that if I do get a tranny & go bigger HP I have the pump to do it. I have not been hot rodding it either.

Please any info would be helpful!

What fuel pressure are you running now?

We dont have a differant spring between the 95 GPH and the 150 GPH. NOW we have differant springs between the 95 Series and 150 Series pumps.

I have 150 gph series pump that works as a 95 gph pump would. I was told that the spring was installed from the factory. I do not know the fuel pressure. I am new to the whole thing!
