I know, I know this is an allison site but this is were I hang out. That said this question would pertain to all trans. Here goes, Have a brother with cummins that is older 2 valve engine, I believe trans is 47re? Who or where could he get a good beefed up trans? We are in south Jersey. Engine is hopped up a little and more on order, This is a non electronic engine. He had fluid changed and a lot of junk came out and was told he's on his last leg. Looking for one of the bigger companys not some locale guys that that do this on the side. Has talked to gearheads in Ohio, seem like a pretty good outfit. Thanks for any replies in advance.
