I have a 20O3 GMC that does not have the fog lights in the lower air dam and the holes as you know are solid in the inset where the fog lights would be. I have the opportunity to purchase an OEM fog light kit direct from GM with brackets, lights and wiring harness will I be able to cut the back out of these holes and insert the lights in the holes that way or will I hav eto buy a whole new air dam? ust wondering if anyone had done this upgrade. Let me know what you think.

May be a little time consuming and require some finesse, but as long as you have the brackets as well you can cut the openings of the air dam holes.

I think merchant sells the kit also.

You can buy the chevy one all day long for $200 list is still less than $300. The one for the GMCs is about $100. The chevy comes with the air dam. Part # if any body needs them are 12499673 for the 03-06 Chevy kit - It includes the switch, foglamps, harness and deflector. And 12498351 for the 03-06 GMC kit

Yes on the GMC you cut the air dam.
