I'm really not sure what the most appropriate forum would be to stick this in (hopefully this is the right one) but my question is, what are the possibilities of putting a windshield wiper on my back window? Don't laugh...it HAS to be possible. Lately it's been raining, then freezing, so I'm stuck with little beads of water all over my back window, and it's almost impossible to see out.Would there even be enough room to install one wiper blade in back? And how would you wire it? I'm assuming you'd just go through the frame underneath the seats and everything and up to the fuse box next to your regular wipers?? I'm sure it would be somewhat of a hassle, but it might be worth it. Just a thought I'm playing around with, any input would be appreciated.

Anything is possible, but it would take a competant customizing shop and a bunch of money. You might be better off trying Rain-X or using an auxillary de-icer.

I would bet haveing an elctronic defrost window would be cheaper.

Have you looked at one of those Lund pieces that goes on the bed up against the rear of the cab? I believe they are made of fiberglass. This may help to keep out light as well as raindroplets.
I have seen them on a few trucks. Some look good and some look tacky.

Wouldn´t a sliding rear window fix your problem? There are even electrically operated ones out there...

Yeah my truck came with the rear window and mirror defrost and when the water is frozen all down the back window it thaws it pretty quick... Bet you could get one for your truck cheaper than you could build a wiper setup...

Heated deep tint back glass. You might have to see about wiring it up though. OEM.
