Was planning on buying a cold air intake and i am not sure which to buy so i do not throw any codes on the new truck i do not want to void my warranty. i have been told s&b is the best route.. any comments would be of great help. ps.. this is my first diesel and i want the best mpg i can get and still have a warranty. many more questions to come in the future..
None, leave it oem if you want to avoid all warranty concerns. they can cause ses lights due to the aftermarket air intake system which will not be covered by warranty...

I went with Airaid on mine, no issues. With a stock to mild truck there's probably better ways to spend your money. But at some point and power level they do become beneficial, assuming they outflow the stock system.

Thats about as hard of evidence as I've ever read here....
I run an S&B system. It seems pretty good quality and I do like it.

I like my AEM Brute Force for the looks and whistle but I didn't notice any real increase in power.

Id just like to throw this out there. If you have any plans at all to go above 450hp DO NOT get an AEM dryflow filter. Me and a few friends of mine have them and now that we are reaching the 500hp mark we are sucking the filter minder down everytime we make a hard pass or hammer down.

I believe it does that because of where it's mounted on the tube.Mine does the same even if I go easy on it.
