i have a buddy that just put an MBRP filter back system on, he is having a problem w/ the truck not having any power at times when he hits the gas then it kicks in. this also happens sometimes in park, he will hit the gas and nothing for a sec then it will just rev up (not by itself). it didn't do this before the exhaust, and there are no codes..... anybody else have this issue.

What kind of truck does your buddy have - I'm assuming since you said filter back that his is an LMM? I have the MBRP filter back on mine now for 5,000 miles, no issues at all. All the MBRP does is remove the muffler - can't see why this would impact his power.

I have the filter back mbrp on my lmm and no muffler. No issues here.

yea we have sold tons w/ only 1 issue that i can remember, i had one guy that said it wouldn't let him regen, but that was like the first system we sold. it could just be his truck doesn't like it, stranger things have happened.

did you guys unhook one of the sensors around the dpf or something and not hook it back up? isn't there a before and after sensor regarding the DPF?

i've been running my MBRP Filter back for over 7K miles and no problems. are there any exhaust leaks anywhere? i'd put the old one back on and see what it does. maybe check the MBRP pipe to make sure nothing is in it blocking it, like packing material or something. i guess another thing to check is your fuel filter. how many miles does the truck have?

I've had mine on for over 5K and no problems here.

i have an lmm with a mbrp filter back system, no problems...cut right past the dpf and installed the system.. simple install and very clean , no codes no problems..1000 miles on the exhaust now..
