Well this will b my third trip to the dealer this friday to get a new cluster for my truck. The first time they ordered the wrong year one for my truck and my drive 1,2,3 didnt light up then they said they got the right one and it worked for bout 1hr then it quit again and my oil pressure gauge has quit also. Now im going back friday to try it for the third time and hopefully this will b the good one. Well there isnt really much point to this thread im just lettin off some steam.:D

Yea, I drove almost 2 years with alot of the gauges not working. I had a new cluster put in a few weeks back and so far everything is working.

If the new cluster quit after an hour, then something else is wrong. Your oil pressure problem could be in the sending unit.

talk about a dealer not making you happy...I bought the undercoating with my truck when I purchased it. After taking my truck back to get it undercoated there were 2 spots on my truck that were scratched and there were spots where undercoating got onto my rims. Needless to say I took it back up there to have them clean up their mess and one of the previous spots never got fixed...I just got done sending them a nasty e-mail about it...:(

Ya i got a call from them today and they said that the company the get the cluster from wont send another one till they make sure that there isnt something else wrong. The way i took it they get the cluster from another company but shouldnt it just be a replacement from GM? Im going to ask that tomorrow when i take it back in. And does anyone know what ur oil pressure gague should go to in like 30-20 degree weather??? After the replacement mine goes all the way up to 120 and im sure that isnt right at all. Any and all info would b greatly appreciated. Lets just hope the problem gets fixed soon. thanks

No they are reman, I work at a dealer and have seen this, once in a while we will go two or three, its rare but it does happen, not much the dealer can do about it since they have nothing to do with the rebuilding of the cluster.., but try again...of course providing everything else is ok, which it is MOST of the time....

Oh ok well that makes since now. Well ya hopefully there isnt anything else wrong. Im just lookn forward to when i dont have to worry if my speedo is going to work or not. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Well i went back today and they said that there are 2 programs that can b used and that they were using the wrong one. So i thought all was good and i was done driving back and forth. WRONG!!!! I just got home and when i looked down i saw that the speedo stopped at 10mph when i wasnt moving. So im gonna give them a call tomorrow and see what else they can do. Just givin everyone an update. I just hope things get better soon cause this will b the 4th time i have gone there.
