Havent Seen Much About Valve Adjustment, I Had To Replace Injectors In My 02 Gmc, While I Had It Tore Down I Decided To Ck The Clerance On My Valves, To My Suprise Some Were Up To 28", I Set Them Back To Factory Specs, It Is So Much Quiter, So If You Have To Have Injectors Have Your Valves Adjusted, It's No Problem While Valve Covers Are Off.

:when i took mine in i asked the stealer personally to check my valve lash on my 02 dmax and he said that it was not necessary that he saw a lot of oilfield trucks 200k+ that were still right on......so he didn't check them:damnit1::wtf1:
All d-maxes have provsions for valve adjustment. This is the first place i have heard of adjusting the valves on a dmax for no reason other than being in the area during a injector replacement, it is not a required service as per g.m.
