Has anybody taken delivery of a truck with the sunroof?

Is the overhead console the same as trucks without a sunroof?

If not how is it different.

I ordered one with a sunroof and want to get gauges and mount them overhead but I don't know it the console is larger or smaller than non sunroof models.

sat in one with a sunroof, less headroom with GMs design. Has a shorty console, similar to my 03 GMC. JMO, but the pictures of the aftermarket roof posted of J Pendlums truck looks nicer than stock. Also, there was no solid cover to close the roof off with, sort of a tinted plastic looking piece that still let some light in. looks like you could still mount the gauges though with the mounts I have seen.

I took delivery of my Sierra last month with sunroof. I don't know the difference between the overheads, but I am a little dissapointed as Sea Wizard noted there is no way to completely block the sun out and at high noon it can be a pia. Search the topics here a few guys have posted some very nice aftermarkets. JMHO

It's 1/2 the size of a truck w/o the hole overhead. I went from a Ford to Chevy and was stuck for a lack of space to store my JUNK. I found these "DZ Visor Caddys" that fit above the visor and look good to boot. With a bit of craftsmanship you could fit 3-4 gauges there. And still put stuff on the pass side.
