: need a trans cover for 4L80...anyone got one? dezil 01-15-2008, 03:37 PM I need to get a "cover trans converter" as GM refers to it. Basically its the cover that keeps dirt and crap out of your flywheel and torque converter. I dont wanna go to the dealership fo an item like that....seems like a waste. Anyone got one for sale? Now I know NOTHING about auto trannies....as a matter of fact this is the only one I have.....is this piece really necessary or can I live without it?
