I am in central Indiana. Is there a performance shop that can install a pyro for me that anyone would recommend?

Do a search here for the hoot method, and you'll find it's an easy DIY...

Hey you're not far from me. I'm in Sheridan, actually at 256th and 31 part of the farm market at the corner. I don't have a diesel YET, but Dave's diesel in muncie works on all makes. They did good work on a natural 7.3 for us.

They are easy to get to, across from tractor supply on 332 east of town.

Is there a performance shop that can install a pyro for me that anyone would recommend?Well, I'm down here in Evansville which is about 3 hours from you and there is an excellent shop here called Hoesli (pronounced Hess' Lee) Diesel. They did my install by removing the manifold and then drilling it. Purty reasonable and Eric is a good guy. Let me know if you need any info.

Roger -

I am from Tipton originally and currently live on 28 East of Elwood (Alexandria address). I haven't installed the pyro on my DMax yet, but I have done some at work and would be more than willing to "practice" with you.):h

Seriously though, if you would want to tackle it yourself I could give you a hand. Otherwise, I would have Dave's Diesel in Muncie do it.

PM me if you are interested. Did you happen to buy the Edge at Dave's? If so they might even cut you "a deal" on installing the probe. If not, I am sure that they would be reasonable as they are good guys to deal with...

If you have a drill and a tap it is very easy if you follow the Hoot method mentioned above. I was a little scared of taking a drill to the exhaust manifold of my new truck, but when I was done i would have been upset if I had paid someone to do it.

I posted this and forgot to check. I didn't realize there were so many of us hoosiers on line here. Thanks for the replies. I may have to do something about this itch for more power now. Yes I am a little chicken about drilling myself.
