There are many threads with tons of advice on replacing injectors. 96GMC6.5L 01-15-2008, 07:04 AM I would put the new downpipe in while the turbo is off. sshewins 01-15-2008, 10:22 AM When I did my SSD's 4" exhaust, I had to trim about 1 1/2" from the back of the down pipe (to clear the crossmember). The provided clamps don't really clamp well ( might have seen better results using an impact) shoot I tried using 4" stainless band clamps - they didn't hold either. It helped alot having the dump bed up, so mine went fairly easy. The provided hangers are still in the box - I made my own out of 1" flat bar stock. It ain't goin nowhere. Side note, my stainless exhaust is starting to rust. NOT happy about that!! Hope this helps, | ||
