Get in my truck last night, start driving down the road and notice things are a little harder to see. Duh! No headlights. Pull over to the side of the road, truck running, tilt the steering wheel all the way up --headlights come on, tilt the wheel back down to the lowest position --headlights go off again. Tried it several more times with the same results. Doesn't make any difference if the light switch on the dash is on or they are on automatic. Now no headlights with the steering wheel tilted at the lower positions. Drove the truck home with the wheel at highest location, really sucks---glad I didn't have a beer or two.

What's up . . . . or should I say Screwed up?

First thought is a pinched wire somewhere or a short. Don't know much about electrical end of things but that's just the first thing that jumps into my head...

Pull the plastic around the steering column off and then check the plug that goes to the ignition. I had an issue with that coming loose...
