2004 LLY w/ 11,500 miles...
Edge Juice/Attitude and 4" MBRP, No Kitty...

Leaving stop Light, kinda got into it maybe 75% throttle was in level 5(didn't think it was, thought it was in Level 3)... Engine Temp. - 183*ish , Tranny temp showed 100 or less....

Truck went maybe up to 55 MPH, and bucked hard and immediately went to say 3000 RPM... Was in 3rd gear...Immediate SES light

Pulled over shut down and started back up. Ran fine but SES light on...

12 hr. later light cut off truck drove ok in Level 3(keep it in Level 3, 85% of time)

------2 days later, 150'ish miles later.. in Level 3, on Highway @ 57 MPH..
Car pulls out, change lanes and speed up to say 63 mph, truck immediately seems to go NO-WHERE.. Then realise it isn't going above 2000 RPM, drives fine in every gear until it hits 2000 RPM then it CUTS-BACK!!!!

Only code showed after first BUCK incident was P0746... Haven't
Re-checked for codes.. NO SES ..

I know I want a Suncoast... But I don't need it, i haven't been hard on the throttle and this is my simpley Daily Driver / Tow-rig, not a RACER....

So has anyone experienced these type things???

It is a possibility you snuck up on it.You need to acclimate the transmission to the additional power.How long was the Edge on the truck?A far and few between quick hits of the throttle may be all it will take and it will sense a over torque. What you feel is not to much is to much for the Allison and you went into limp mode.

I would suggest since you don't want a racer to set it in one level two or three and forget it.Drive around at different throttle positions from light to deep making all shifts.I would also use Tow Haul ,locking the converter in lower gears helps.
