Just installed a Magnaflow 4" exhaust this afternoon on my truck and the drone and sound is something I definitely need to get used to but what a difference in performance over stock.

I got Diamond Eye REAL DownPipe & Corsa Catless Muffled 4". I can barely hear it in the truck at any speed or RPM. I hear the Intake more.

But Boy-O-Boy is it loud outside!! :)

4" with 12" muffler and 6" tip, no drone, but I have not towed with this setup yet.

i think its gona be almost a given with any after market system to get some droan while towing heavy i even get some droan with stock when i tow heavy sometimes

also since i cant edit the poll just use it to vote for what system you have so we can determine some of the more popular set ups people run on these trucks.

Corsa 4in stainless strait, loudest in cab out of all the trucks i've had. Might be loudest outside to. Not complaining one bit though, I love it!:ro)

4" MBRP front pipe with straight piped 3.5 after and dumped in front of the rear tire.

Dront when the OD kicks in and I'm cruisin between 45-52mph. Doesn't drone at all anywhere else.

No drone only a little louder in the cab (especially since deleting the cat or DPF or whatever you wanna call it). Way loud outside when on it:D

i screwed up the poll so we are just using the poll as a data base for what most people on here run for an exhaust. so you can just vote for what ever you are running or gona run

I still have a completely stock truck and at highway speeds around 1500 rpm it makes a lot of noise.

I had a 4" Magnaflow turbo-back on my dually that had minimal sound running empty. But turn up the boost and haul heavy and it droned like a MF!!!

The mystery 4" turbo-back I have on this 2500HD sounds nice and has a very slight drone when hauling. Sure wish I knew what brand it was.

Slight drone in 5th and 6th and light throttle. Low rumble at idle, moderate tone at hard throttle. Whistles good up and down for what it is. Added more sack for sure.

some drone, straight pipe stock..... it seemed to becopme louder after the resonator was removed though. that, or i never noticed until then :D.... even so, still sounds way better than stock...
