Has anyone experienced problems with window regulators? Also, where is the fuse located for the passenger side window regulator. Mine was sticking when trying to roll it down. I think now it has blown a fuse.--Thanks for any help--Ken

It's a 02 2500 D/A Silverado. The window regulator is the name of the apparatus that raises and lowers the automatic window.--Ken

hi kwilson , im not sure if 02's are like 03's but i would guess it would be close except no class 2 data. my 04 has 03 wiring which the door modules run off 25 amp ckt. brkrs. and the motors in the regulators look to also have internal ckt. protection or i should say motor protection. grab a meter and start testing.:ro)

Thanks Peekok, I'll try to do some testing this weekend. The drivers side works fine so I guess the circuit breaker is ok. I'll have to figure how to get the side panel door off.--Ken

I had my passenger side one replaced about 8 months after I got it. It was making a grinding noise while lowering and raising. Just last week the drivers side had trouble. When I lowered it, it made the same awful grinding type noise like the other one did. It also came out of the track and I had to help the motor and pull on the window to get it back almost closed. I pulled over and got out. I then lowered it while pushing on the window glass toward the track and it poped back in and has been fine ever since. Has me a little worried though. I'd like to see a picture or something of what it looks like in there, to try to understand what's going on.
