Whats a 1984 1/2 4x4 6.2L LWB silverado in poor shape worth? It's had a rebuilt tranny and new glo plugs, and new batteries. It's in good mechinical shape but it looks rough on the outside. Not rusted through but has some surface rust.
I tried looking at KBB and another site but they don't go down to 84.
Its also got a gooseneck hitch. (I plan to install a 14bolt rear I have if I get it)

Where are you located?
How many miles are on it?
Auto tranny? I have the exact same truck, w/ a manual trans.

Well, I've seen several decent (aka, not in need of an immediate repaint or rebuild) K10 gas burners in my area for $2,500-3,500. Of course really nice ones are more than that.
My truck is probably in about the same shape, more dents, no rust, with about 100k on it. I personally wouldn't sell it for any price, but I'd be pretty suprised if I could get $4,000 for it.
I'd search the zip in your area and the truck's area for similar vehicles on www.autotrader.com and see what they are priced like.
Remember, most people look at the 6.2 as a negative thing, because of $$$ if repairs are needed, so the truck you are looking at would probably be worth less than a similar gasburner.
But just to give you a wild guesstimate, I'd say it's probably worth $2,000...$2,500-3,000 at most. Of course that is in my area, and with what I am thinking the truck looks like...
