Let's hear from you guy's trying various stacks on LLY. I've got a nieghbor that is not satisfied with either Bully-dog or Quad when stacked w/ Edge/***.("spittin-n-poppin"). We are trying to figure out what works and I'm sure somebody has found a work-able stack......do tell:ro) Thanks, Ed.

Try the juice 5x5 and pup on1 or 2...this has worked for me and several others. At the track it yeided a 14.1 on a stock trans(pass made by fasttoys)....modded trans...who knows...probably high 13's for sure. I am getting the predator soon and will let everybody know what I think. There have been a few here who have tried this already.......not really sure if the predator offers anything drastic stacked.

dpower, well that's what we are seeing but I couldn't help but think he could get some more "stack" before the poppin started:confused: ...it appears that the LLY is not as receptive to stacks as LB7....too bad, huh? ( at least now we know he is not the only one) Thanks for the input and I'll be waiting to haer about the Pred.

dpower, btw, did you happen to run with Edge only at the track? how much did the stack help the times?

youre right about the LLY and stacking, doesnt seem to yield the results you would think. You can get some extra power out of it but nothing mind boggling and im not sure why as the LB7 seems to work better stacked. ive pretty much run everything out there for the LLY and stacked every conceivalbe combo thats available and would say that the predator stand alone is the best bang for the buck although im sure the new TTS tune for the LLY is better but havent gotten down south for that tune yet although i will be very shortly now. As for the stacking, i wasnt happy about any combo so stopped stacking, the best combo though if i HAD to choose would be the edge and bully dog, either the BD on 3 and edge on 4, or edge on 5 and BD on 2 - but i cant stand how it runs after driving it for a while as the BD makes terrible noise before the truck is warmed up, the edge doesnt kick on til 180*, and the engine noise is greatly increased with the BD. Just my 2 centavos and MHO - hope it helps. I would say to wait for the TTS High Performance tune that should be out maybe in the summer and you wont be able to touch the performance or the driveability with anything else !

thanks tbone. It seems like this truck is worse than other LLY's. He can't run more than BD on #1(50 h.p.?) and Edge @5/5:confused: .....we'll keep trying:ro) :ro) .

it will hiccup with the BD on 2 or 3 stacked with edge on more than 4. not sure if you have adjusted the low boost fueling on the edge as it seems like the stack will run better with the low boost set on no more than 3, 4 tops depending on what stack

Predator on 65 HP tune, and Juice on level 0 doesn't work so good for me. I just stacked mine for the first time yesterday, drove to work this morning, (not really warmed up yet), power is fine, but definitely more chatter. Will try other Juice levels in the following weeks, but I don't have a tranny built yet, so we'll see what comes.

I tried the lly 2004.5 edge with attitude, and stacked it with a module I had from my lb7. The truck ran fine around town, but when I put the pedal down the truck went right into gimp mode. Whats the deal?

baimpala, you are going to hear more chatter with the Predator no matter how you have the stack set up.

I don't think the predator adds much stacked with the juice. I run 65 horse with the predator and level 3 on the edge daily. Some times I can run level 4 sometimes I can't. I have no issues running level 3 but level 4 seems to bring on the 2000 rpm limp mode. I need spring to roll around so I can get back on #2 and do more testing.

What I do like about running the predator on 65 hp is that the tranny never sees horsepower below +65hp levels and that seems to help it shift a lot better. Edge needs to remove their engine temperature kick in. Or at least lower it.

That's cool. Have you noticed the Attitude display not showing TC slippage when you're stacked with the predator. Mine stays on 100% all the time now, but I can feel the converter lock up. I'm wondering if I should unhook and then rehook up the juice, but it is running fine, so I don't think anything is wrong with the connection.

Never noticed. I will have a look tomorrow and let you know.

A couple other things to consider. My truck has to original fuel filter at a bit over 10,000 mile (Changing very shortly) and I haven't had my truck flashed yet. I have a couple high injector balance rates (+4.0 or so) so the P1093 might go away after I get those 2 things squared away. I think there is more potential then I see right now. But with the 3 feet of snow on the ground and my stock tranny I can't get that power to the asphalt anyways. I can't use it until spring :(

Actually I noticed today that the slip value will change every once in a while and then stay there. Like when I lift the throttle, it will change. . . I can't figure out the pattern, because I am usually using the point and squirt method of driving, so I'm not eyes glued to the Attitude.

I'm pretty happy with my Predator,Edge J/A stack. I run the Predator on 65hp and the J/A anywhere from 0-5 with no complaints other than the 2000 rpm limp in levels 4 and 5 on the J/A. The Predator seemed to add some much needed bottom end to the J/A,still could use more.I'll have my FASS and Suncoast Stage V done by Monday:D so testing will continue:ro) . Hopefully the FASS cures the 2000 RPM limp

I should get to drive it tomorrow with the FASS. If it stops raining(4 inches this week and countin). I'll give her a good floggin and see if that nasty 1093 code stays away.

Put the pred program on today but roads are way to slick to do anything but if we get a little sun I'll let you know what happens

FASS update,I've beat on the truck for the last 5 days. Ran it at WOT until the tranny limped several times without any codes, much harder than I could before.I haven't ran it too hard with the new Suncoast,we're still getting to know each other.):h

So predator on 65hp and you can run Edge on level 5 with out bursting? If so that is a huge improvemnt and it should make the truck go like a raped ape!

That's what its doing so far,but I kept limping the tranny. I'll test it some more after the Suncoast's learning session is over.If it works out I'm going to throw some injectors at it and see what happens.I can tell it's fueling more because of the power and smoke increase.:D

You feel a power increase with the FASS?

Are you sure you are limping the tranny, or the motor? I have yet to limp the tranny since the stage III. However, the damn engine limp happens quite often.

I was limping the tranny before the Suncoast upgrade, just put it in Saturday.I'm sure I was limping the motor before the FASS install(code 1093). The FASS doesn't add power it just lets the motor continue to make power by keeping it supplied with fuel. Before the FASS it would almost die at or around the 4-5 shift at WOT. Now it pulls though 5th gear until the tranny limps. As soon as the Suncoast is dialed in I'll beat on it some more and see what happens.

A suncoast lvl 3 shouldn't be limping under those power conditions....something isn't right in the allision....at least thats my conclusion. Might want to check it out.

On edit: Most definitely should not limp a stage v...somethin definitely wrong. I bet it has something to do with your gearing change....there was a post somewhere talking about how a gear/ tire change may foul things up.....somebody out there will know something.

Please read all my posts in this thread. I was limping the tranny before the Suncoast install on Saturday January 8th. My previous tranny was a bonestock Ally.I've had zero problems since the Suncoast and FASS upgrades.

That was after just the FASS install. I haven't beat on the truck since the Suncoast install,I'm still going though the Fast Learn process.

I believe that the Airdog or FASS helps with the fuel delivery and supply end of things. However, the question is, will it be able to get rid of the 1093 code?
