Just downloaded the Predator 40 hp tune and also reset for the current tire size. My question is, should this correct the speed-o-meter display? It is still off by 5 mph at 60. I double checked this setting on the unit and it showed my correct tire size.
Please let me know:confused: .

You need to go into Modify tune first. Then it will let you adjust and save parameters, then install modified tune.

I didn't correct my tire size. I know how far it is off so it's easy to adjust for and this way I get extra warranty ;)

It got me the first time. You have to enter the STOCK tire size first, then the new tire size.

I did not reset the tire size also for the same reason. The warranty will last just a bit longer.

Has anyone with large tires and a predator, checked the odometer against a GPS? I'm not convinced that the predator changes the odometer. I know it adjust the speedo, Dead on to my GPS, just haven't been able to figure out my GPS so that I can verify the mileage.

I just started a new thread about this before looking for one already posted (I'm lazy?). So what I need to do is dump the factory settings back in and then put the modified parameters back on? It was working fine, and then I dropped my tune for the winter (sled hauling) I did not think I would have to do anything with the parameters since they did not change but my speedo seems to be off 10mph now.

Then it will load the right settings.

I have not corrected my speedo for this purpose. What do you think about going the opposite direction and increasing the error% to make the Odometer read slow, effectively increasing your warranty??
