I have an 07 classic and i'm purchasing my filters from fleet, I'm finding that the filter life is not very long Appox.7K before they get restricted and mileage goes down. I've taken the oem filter apart and the design does not appear to allow long life are there any other choices other then the oil type. thanks PS i do not drive off road..

I have 15,000 miles and have not chaged the air filter. I will probably do it this weekend. I have had no problems with milage fall off.

I hear the blues ones from GM are long lasting, but I doubt your filter is clogged at 7K I have over 30K on the stocker and its fine. I my truck is in dust a lot thanks to work.

I use the AFe Drop In Replacement Filter. Just cleaned it for the first time in 8k miles. Wasn't really dirty, but looked like it would help to clean it.
