I know the limits of the turbo are 32 psi.

How much fuel can a stock truck handle?

How much timing can a stock truck handle? What kind of increments should i be playing with and where at in the power?

What needs to be considered when building a tow tune?

i have done the search many times and i am still very lost.

Basicly i want to tune this truck but i'm unsure as to how much is too much. it's a stock 07 LMM.

Thanks

If the EGT's are higher then desired, whats the trick to getting them lower? More boost, less fuel?

Along with both of those methods more timing can help but too much timing can be dangerous.

I always thought the stock turbos are good to 40 psi. max.

yes 40 psi is the most I woud run but the stock turbo is not efficient past 32 psi other than to lower egts. 28-32 psi is a good power range imo

LMM's seem to be able to handle more timing. than other years.

Where should i start making adjustments? Should i hit up the tables above 2000 rpms only?

What happens if i start trying to build power right from 1200 rpm?

The reason i would do this is for better towing performance, will this work?

your timming is only relavent to the length of time the injection ( main pulse width ) takes place you want your timming to be correct not to much or to little , read up on the 50/50 timming and check out the 50/50 timming calculator, I dont like smoke so I dont pump any more fuel than nec. in the lower rpm, my goal is enough fuel to get the turbo lit then at boost i can crank it up with out smoking, but with your vvt you have a little more control than i have with my lb7, for a tow tune read macrats 20/20 tow tune and that will help you get started . information is power
