I have an '08 LMM and Stealth2 and I am trying to decide which turbo back MBRP exhaust to get

Here is what I know for sure.....

I like the look of the 5 inch with no tip but I am concerned about "drone" in the cab....also if I got the 5" I would like to have the tailpipe section chromed if it could handle the heat and not turn color (unless aluminized steel will polish up like chrome....I don't think it will)

OR

I could just go with the 4" no tip in 304 stainless and polish the hell out of it and be done

Is there that much of a sound difference between the 4" and 5"?

they sell 5" to 5" tips. I would go with the 5" exhaust it just looks better. I can't say about the sound on either of them but I like the 5"

maxey- Tough call. I suggest going with a stainless 4" system. This way you will get the lifetime warranty and be able to polish the tail section like you want. You can also add the muffler delete pipe if you want it a little louder. 5" is going to have a deeper tone than 4", but the 4" with a muffler delete has a pretty deep tone and very pronounced turbo whistle. Hope this helps.
