Does anyone know if they make those retractable tire chain gizmos for a fat girl? They work by a small wheel engaging the inside of the inside dual. There are about 6 short chains attached that rotate under the tire, one at a time to provide traction.

just watched the video on that site, those things are awesome

You might be able to put them on a 3/4 or 1 ton, but you will have to add an air compressor as the activation is by air. I don't know about clearance issues. Spendy, too.

we have them on all our fire trucks. it is called on spot. i am unsure if they make them for pickups though.
