Just letting you all know, I just brought back about 6000 pounds 750 miles south from Iowa and when the truck is in tow/haul mode, it sure changes the attitude of the truck! I liked when the truck used the engine to slow the load. Kudos to the Allison for making light work of a good load! The Dmax rocked too!

Yeah slowing down loaded or even empty sure is nice with the grade braking. Behaves a lot more like a manual without having to shift...
