Do you have the new body style truck with the venturi exhaust tip, or do you have classic body style that looks the same as 2005 and 2006 year models?

I found this on another thread
"Year 2006 introduced a newly revised LLY(8th digit of VIN is 2) and a completely new LBZ(8th digit of VIN is D) motor."
if you have the new body style it should be an LMM, but if you have the classic body style check with the above quote. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

If it is an 07 it is either the LBZ or the LMM depending on the body style...New body style LMM while the classic is LBZ
