: Vacuum at tank when filling up??? problemchild 01-01-2005, 08:23 PM My supertank pulls vacuum while driving. When I stop to fill up and remove the cap it hisses for a second or two maybe 3. But I agree, it doesn't sound quite on the up and up. Jim jbplock 01-02-2005, 09:32 AM PC, Have you tried changing the fuel cap? The fuel cap is designed to vent both in and out. It will always vent in to prevent a vacuum and it has a pressure relief valve which vents out once a certain level of pressure is reached. :) problemchild 01-02-2005, 02:15 PM Ill buy a new one this week.
