Has anyone experience with the composite bed that GM offered?

Lennart 01-02-2005, 12:21 PM To my knowledge the composite bed was only avilaiable in the 1500 LS and LT Silverado ECSB models. The tailgate was also composite.... The feature was called PRO-TEC. I only found it in the Chevy but not in the GMC catalogs of 2002 and 2003, donīt have the 2004 but is is not in the 2005 catalog. I haven't heard one of them complain about it. And no they don't crack.
