Has anyone added a fuel primer to their 6.5 similar to the ones found on the Duramax? They are slick and helpful. Sure beats cracking a line and bleeding. 10sec, and you are running again. any ideas?

The 6.5's lift pump (LP) can act as a fuel primer - read the FAQs. You can turn the key to 'on' and the LP will pump all sorts of fuel to the injection pump. Is that what you're referring to?

Or use the paper clip in the fuel relay socket trick. Works for me.
