There is no more Line-X in Houston anymore. What is up with that?

What do yall think Line-X or Rhino Lining? I have local Rhino dealers...

Truckdaddy is a Line-X dealer somewhere in TX I believe. I know it's a big state so he could be a couple days drive away:rolleyes:

The long and short of Line-X vs Rhino

Line-X -More durable(read harder and stuff slides easier), stays "new" looking longer, NationWide warranty

Rhino -Not as durable(but it holds stuff better so it doesn't slide), still has a full warranty just only at dealer who installed it

Both are excellent products but since I have Line-X I think it's better IMHO:D

I have "Rhino" I like it better because stuff dosen't slide around a lot...I can make it look like new with a bottle of armorall, but then stuff slides all over the place (go figure).

The only problem I have had was when the neighborhood moron tried to take my hitch out and gouged a chunk out of the tailgate...It cost me $20 bucks to have it patched...
I told the moron I would take it out of his hide if he ever touched my truck again...

I've had both ... Rhino once and line-x about 8 times. I'll never get Rhino again!

I cant beleive there isnt a Line X in a city that big. I know the owner of the Line X in DFW... maybe he should expand!

Closest is in Beaumont, and I don't see myself heading out that way. I'm probably going to get mine done in San Antonio.

Kampzite just re-affirmed I'm making the right decision. If I'm paying that much for a liner, I don't need to baby it.

Tuff and another local company ran Line-X out of here from what I head.

Damn maybe I need to come to town. There is no way they should have run them out of business unless they werent doing good prep work. Then no liner is worth a shit

From what I understand, it was more of a franchise disagreement. Something to do with only having a Line-X sign up for the business. Most shops perform and sell other items than just spray-in bed liners.

Yeah where is that. I am in Katy as well. The last place I used which was in 2003 was off FM 249 close to the beltway I think. They did a HORRIBLE job on my 03. Piss poor prep, over spray on entire truck and uneven application. Coulda done a better job my self after drinking a 30 pack.

I have a line-x liner that I had sprayed here in Houston through dealership when I bought my truck new. I am in need of a few small repairs on it and found out the same thing through the dealer that there are no line-x dealers in Houston. I called line-x and the closest seems to be in Austin.

I am off Grant, between Louetta and Spring Cypress. Wonder if I have seen you running around? What color is your truck? Mine is a white, debadged, long sucker!

the thing with tuff is that they do it so cheap the one here in SA did our new work trucks and racks plus the rocker panels for 700 a truck. but they suck at prep they try to get things done so fast that they don't take there time. go line-x and you'll be happy

I don't have either, did not want to spent the $$ on a spray in. But I did spent the $80 on the DIY "Herculiner" rolled it on myself took me 3 days put on 2 thick coats seems to me like it is gonna hold up better, plus I had some extra so I can just patch it myself if I ever have to.
