: Oil Leak Diesel Im Blut 12-31-2004, 11:07 PM Over the past few weeks I noticed what I thot looked like oil on garage floor. Noticed again with truck parked. Weird spot, like under front bumper in front of right tire. I looked in engine compartment and saw nothing. Underneath there was oil on engine side of front of inner fenderwell. I looked up and saw oil coming from what I presume looks like the fresh air intake hose? any Ideas? :confused: rog partsguy662 12-31-2004, 11:21 PM Is it the blue silicone hose leaking oil?? if so, I believe there is a tsb about this..... It's (the oil) a side effect of the new closed PCV system, oil collects at the bottom of the cooler, leaks out the lower hose... an addtional symptom is the hose getting blown off, since the mating surfaces are now lub'd.
