I'm looking for information on primrose 409 winter fuel treatment, does it contain alcohol? I've started using 409 before the news that GMC wanted only non alcohol type treatments. I've sent e-mails to primrose and have not received a response.

Primrose should not contain any harmful alcohols. Personally, I use FPPF.

My best advice if the dealer ever asks is to tell them you use Stanadyne and ONLY Stanadyne treatment. I'm not overly fond of the stuff, but it is a relatively decent additive, and is on the "in" list with GM.
