 After only 5K {just in time to rotate} my back tires are at 50%. I have not been doing any burnouts {maybe one } but I've been towing and hauling heavy. I expected to see 30K-40K out of them but at this rate if I get 20K I'll be happy :(. Overall the wear is completely unacceptable but they seem to offer decent traction . My Cooper STT's were better on all counts.

Just the opposite for me. On my last truck I had toyos that went over 30k and coopers that were shot at 20k. I have toyos on the new truck again. Just rotated with 4000 and look almost new.

I have a set of 315/75/16 Toyo MT's on mine and over 30k on the tires. They were just checked and show 55-60 percent tread left. I do quite a bit of towing (18' car trailer 6k typical load) and run a sled deck on the bed in the winter (loaded about 1500lbs) I love mine and won't by any other off road tire. JMO
ps: I run 45psi front and 40psi rear

I've been running mine at max pressue {80psi} ,is that the problem? I'm going to air down and see if 60psi helps. These cost way too much to wear out this fast.

I was just looking at Toyo M/T's yesterday and almost pulled the trigger. I will be towing a 5th wheel.
I have the BFG A/T, and have not been happy with them...........
maybe I will hold off for a bit and see some other opinions.............

Your psi should very with the load your hauling

I'm loaded heavy most of the time. 33' trailer with up to 35K gross and 2K-4K on bed when not towing.
Towing is what is killing your tires. When I tow my travel trailer, I can almost see the wear after a single trip. MT's and towing frequently may not be the best combination.
I have Toyo AT's (see my garage) and they do a decent job on and off road. However, I do not take my truck "4 wheelin", ever. Dirt roads, snow that sort of stuff only.
If you need the MTs and you have to two frequently, you may consider some rubber just for towing.
Good Luck.

I would go with the Toyo A/T's too, but, there is no 295/75/16 E Toyo A/T..............

OK,that helps. Now I just need to find s set of 285" Toyo A/T's for towing and run these when I go 4wheelin' and am not hauling.

I just paid for a new set of tires just for long trips.I got some 37 Pro comp xtreme allterrains for $800 otd.Where 4wheel parts wants $905 a tire for my Toyos. My toyos seem to be wearing fast since I mainly use the truck to tow my toy hauler and boat. I had to rotate them after 5 trips and would rather swap a new set of rims and tires for long highway trips.
