is anyone riding on 305/65/18 bfg a/t? i wanted to put 33x12.5x18 toyo m/t but the guy at 4wheels parts said it wouldn't fit w/o a 4inch lift. he said it would rub way to much and i would have to hack up my truck to just get it to not rub all the time, so he said i should run 305/65/18 a/t if i wanted a beefy looking tire. i really want the toyo m/t (love the look) but i still want the truck to be drivable and not have to worry about rubbing on sharp turns and bumps..
The Toyos will fit, there are quite a few people on here running them. I had 325/60/18 Toyo AT's and they fit just fine. The BFG's are only a 1/4 to 1/2" narrower but they are 3/4" taller so you will still have to trim some anyway.
It really depends on what wheel your going to use also. A 5 to 5.5" backspace will work best.

I've got a 6" ProComp lift with 18x9 ProComp Chrome wheels #6005 and ProComp Xtreme M/T 305x70/18 my tires measure 34.8" and with the six inch lift I still get a little rubbing every now and then.

what a 4.5 backspace and -12 offset?

They'll rub more so you'll have to trim more. Check out dunefreaks garage I just saw a post and he's running the Toyo MT 33x12.5 on an 18x9 w/ a 4.5" bs. May try PMing him and see what he had to do to get them to work. Mine have a +12 offset pics in garage w/ 325's.
