When i had my bedliner & rail done i also had wheel wells done,But the wheel wells are a smooth finish not like the rest,Is that normal? Not sure if they thought it would be easier to clean or didn't do it right,The rest all looks great. Thanks

The Line-X applicator can vary the texture of the spray. I am surprised they didn't ask you what finish you wanted on the various parts of the job.

I did not get my wheel wells done (they wouldn't do them..) but had my receiver hitch sprayed.

The tech and I talked a good bit about the finish that would be be best on both the bed and the hitch. Ended up matching the texture in the bed on the hitch (rough).

For a wheel well, smoother has got to be better IMHO....

Word, smooth finish will be MUCH easier to clean/will stay clean longer than the rough finish. You should be happy they did it that way ;).

To get the textured look they would have to have the spray gun a large distance away. This allows small balls to form before it gets to painted surface.
