i received these steps the friday before christmas. went to install them and found that one of the motors was busted. of course they were closed for two weeks for the holidays. i finally got the replacement motor and installed it. my passenger step was just dangling there for two weeks. other than this "little" problem the install was relatively easy. although the driver side wiring harness was just barely long enough, almost too short. made it a pain in the ass. i was lucky and did not have to remove the door panels. these steps are awesome and perform perfectly. they look great also. i get tons of compliments about these. i will try to get pics up when it stops raining here

I'd love to get a set of these, I just can't justify the cost unless I were lifting the truck.

How were you able to get them to work without removing the door panel. Looking to get a set here soon. Cheapest I have found them is $1040.00 does that sound about right?
Thanks Jim

if he doesnt have the higher optioned models then he didnt have to remove the door panel...i believe the LTZ's and maybe a few of the LT's are the only ones you need to remove the door panel...if you have found the 07+NBS ones for $1040 show me where...the cheapest i can find is around $1200 shipped

if you have the NBS just look under the dash in the driver foot well. there will be a black box with a pink(if i remember correctly) plug going into the black box. if that plug has two special wires in it then you can tap into a wire under the sill plate. if those wires arent in the pink plug, then you have to remove the door panels. you can view the install instructions on their web site.

if you found them for $1050 then buy them. i got mine for about $1100 shipped with tax from a vendor on this forum. i probably could have got them a little cheaper but wanted to support the vendors of this forum

bjadamsr6: two questions...pm me and let me know where you bought them from...second...what trim package do you have on your truck?? LS, LT, or LTZ...that should determine the wires at the kick panel

My mistake. I have the 07 Classic and the steps for $1040.00 are that model.
