Can the catalytic converters be removed on my 6.0 without any problems or codes? I have 140k on it and have taken them off on my past 5.7L trucks and it definitely wakes them up. Curious ifit would do the same on my 2001.

Had them removed on my 02 6 liter. I put headers and blocked the EGR and ran straight 4" all the way. Check engine light came on for sure. My friend has a LS1 shop and removed the codes. See if you can find someone in your area that deals in trucks or LS1s like in the camaros, trans ams, and vettes.They are all the same programing so it can be done.
