How hard is this to change. I came out this morning and found Dexcool dripping on the driveway. It looks like its coming from the lower radiator hose. The truck is an 06 GMC 2500HD and my low coolant light came on about 2 weeks ago and just came back on, so I am positive its coolant. Am I going to need to drain the entire cooling system?

I just came from my dealer and they ordered an updated one for mine, it has a very slow leak, second time with only 20,400 miles.

Why would you not take it to the dealer and let them fix it?

Its out of its standard warranty and I don't feel like paying a $100 deductible for it to get a hose changed.

Have you priced that hose yet? Last time I replaced one on my 02, it was well over $100. Might be cheaper to let them do it.

Check to make sure the leak isn't coming from the waterpump weep hole and it just appears to be the hose.
