Ok I want to purchase an intake and exhaust but probably not a tuner as of now. I have had 3 Ford Powersucks in the past and all of them have been modded. I just dont know which setup is best for the Chevys. I really like the volant kit. is it a good kit??? also hows the mbrp filter back exhaust kit?? And if i do decide to do a tuner which is the best for the money thats not so tracable to the dealer??

I suggest going with a S&B intake, Magnaflow DPF back exhaust, and Quadzilla Stealth 2 tuner or a PPE unit. S&B is the best combination of filtration and flow you can get for a very good price. Magnaflow offers 3 different styles of DPF back systems (single 4", Duals, single 5") in three different configurations (Pro, XL, MAG). They feature intercooled tip(s) which I feel look better than all others on the market. The Quad unit is priced right and can be upgraded via free downloads at quadzilla power .com. PPE also makes great tuners in a few different power settings. Here are some links with more info and pricing. Feel free to give me a holler if you have any questions.

My suggestion is to order the S&B. The AFE has been known to throw the MIL. One customer (a member here) just returned one due to that reason. Let us know if we can help.
