My vacuum pump went south and was making noises. I bought a new tensioner and discovered that it is in fact good but the "V" Pump will rotate an inch or two and quit. No wonder it was squawking. Anyway, the dealer wants $330 just to order it. I just gave him $910 for an array of computer stuff and Glow Plug relays. The pump wont be here till after the first and I want to drive to my farm in the morning. The new belt I bought was too short, but now that the pump is on the bench it should fit. What kind of codes will I set off w/out the pump?
