I finally broke down and ordered Bilstein shocks from Kennedy :ro) to go with my upgraded 265/75/16 Big O all terrains, and all that I can say is Wow, and why did I wait for 12000 miles on my truck before doing this?

It drives like a dream, has better control, and really smooths out the gravel road that I live on. If you are on the fence about replacing shocks, don't procrastinate and order a set from Kennedy. He has a great price, and they were delivered in just a couple of days.

Yep, all of what you said except for the mileage. I waited until 55k and I'm still asking myself why did I wait so long. Same for the 4" MBRP exhaust.

While Bilsteins are good, I find that the ride of the Rancho 9000's or the Explorer Pro Comp Reservoir Shocks will provide a better ride with better handling stability. Just my opinion though...

I learned about Bilsteins on a Class A Motorhome.

What a difference they make.

I made it 700 miles when the front drivers side shock puked. Instesd of going in and getting another bad shock put on my truck, I had Kennedy send me a set of Bilsteins. Great move on my part. Truck ride was like night and day.
