BFG trail TAs... are many people running these? What are your experiences with them? I drive 95% on the hiway & i kinda figured this could be a option for me. Anybody have pics of their trucks with these tires installed? thanks

Which Trail T/A ?
Radial Long Trail?
Rugged Trail?
Open Trail?
To my knowledge the "Trail T/A" is no longer available...at least I do not see it on their website.
This is how the TRAIL T/A used to look like...

And here is the DATASHEET (http://duramax.de/22_trail%20TA.pdf) from 1998....

I Have Been Running Bfg-ta-ko's 285-75-16 For 60,000 Miles
And I'm Very Happy With The Performance And Reliability
In Mud , Snow And Wet Roads (no Spinning Or Sliding) .
Towing Is Also Good . I Did Not See Your Ta-trail On
Line Or In The Tire Shop .

I really like my A/T K.O.'s on my 50% off road Suzuki Samarai! They have the bite and less chunking on the rough rocks we have off road here in SOCAL. I have had them in PA during one of the worst snow storms they have experienced in decades about 2 years ago, and they worked flawlessly! The feature I like best is the triple sidewall, when airing down for sand, it can't be beat! 40K plus miles and plenty of tread left on 'em!
I see that the stock tires are really mild in comparison, (Bridgestones) pick up stones in the tread easier, and the compound is too stiff so more chunking is observed already, and I only have had them offroad briefly. I highly reccomend the BFG A/T K,O,'s, and will be getting these meats soon..... for my 05 Chev 4x4!

I have two sets of tires. Don't know where you are located as to what you have to deal with weather wise, etc., but for the winter I have a set of BFG All-Terrains K/O that can't be beat no matter what the conditions. For the summer and running alot of highway I have a set of Michelin LTX M/S that I have been trying out. These have performed very well pulling a 10,000 trailer and all for 18,000 miles. Quiet on the road and pretty good in the rain. My local independent tire shop does not recommend the BFG Long Trails for our trucks at all. He has had too many tires not hold up on the these heavier trucks and they did not wear well either milage wise.

Trail T/A's are absolute junk, do not buy them. All terrain K/O's, however, are the best tire i've ever run. I had 80K on mine and they still had some tread left. Plus the grip is unreal in snow and mud..
