I didn't notice i had left the Edge on Level 5 and took off from light to pass a few slow cars and a lady who couldn't shift a Manual tranny and was blocking traffic...

The truck bucked and it dropped to what I guess was 3rd gear and wouldn't go to a higher gear, SES light came on immediately!!!! I was going about 60 and it BUCKED during the 4-5 shift...

I stopped and parked it cut it on and off 3 times and it drove fine but light was on... Light went off after a day!!!

Went and used a SNAP-ON Scan Tool, it read it though ti was only for up to 2003 and gave a P0746 code... and some weirde message although it did say it cleared the TRANNY CODE...

ANYONE KNOW IF I REALY CLEARED IT???? or what this code is????? I won't have my own NEW SCAN-TOOL stuff until later this week when ti and our new EMMISION COMPUTER SETup IS DELIVERED...

BTW: I would love to have a tranny but truck only has 11,000 miles... Kind of un-necessary at this point I dont have any need to race, its my Daily Driver I just want to know why it did it????

BTW: Tranny temp was at about 100* or less I believe this effects it, becuase it wasn't run nearly as hard as I do when its all HOT and I know it is in Level 5, I thought it was on Level 3(EvERydAY) i didn't really even gag on it..

Seriously, the problem will get progressively worse (easier) to limp trans each time you do that. For Running the Hot Juice only and not dragracing etc, a Transgo Shiftkit will be fine to 400RWHP reliably.

If you are over that level, ATS DTT Suncoast All have more permanent Solutions.
