I am now taking orders for Duramax girdle kits :D. If your tearing you Dmax down and wanting to strengthen your bottom end, then this girdle kit is for you! These kits will be available to ship starting in February. This kit will include girdle, main cap studs/nuts, side bolts, oil pan studs/nuts/bolts, and oil pickup tube bolts. This kit will be a 95-100 percent bolt on ready kit. Of course, every engine builder has there opinions and fitting specs, so some "custom fitting" may be required. I will have final pricing on this kit in a week or less. PM me with any questions.
Thanks for looking!
Matt

Just got my block back with what should be the final fit on the girdle kit:D. Looks like I will need the top oil pan and oil pick up tube to modify for the girdle. I am still waiting on ARP to get me a discounted price on the custom main studs. Will have the kit price figured out the first of week. If you haven't pm'd yet with interest, please do so. I will pm you back as soon as I have a final kit price.

Thanks,
Matt

Girdle kits (limited supply ready) will start shipping either 2/22 or 2/25. Girdle was final fitted and installed in my motor last week. As far as the centerlink clearance issues, I believe I have found a OEM pitman/idler arm assembly from another GM model truck/suv that has a lower arch in it. I will have updates on these arms asap.

Thank you!

Here are some pics of my centerlink after I changed out the idler arm with GM part number 1917-8433 and redesigned my pitman arm. This idler arm lowers the centerlink approx 1 1/2 inches. To get the centerlink close to level, and far enough away from the front of the oil pan, I had to drop the arch of the stock pitman arm 1 1/2 inches and shorten the whole arm approx 1 inch. After doing this modification, it may make just as much sense to leave the stock idler/pitman arms intact, cut the centerlink at both arms, and drop the center portion of the centerlink to give you plenty of clearance for the oil pan.
