3-5k should do it. John at Suncoast priced one for me. Most builders are similarly priced, of course this depends on your needs, hp, and such.

Melvins Transmissions in Clarkton NC can handle it. He's going to help me with my Transgo install in a couple of weeks.

Where at on NC coast are you?

How much labor is involved with removing/installing the trans?

Shops usually charge around $700. If you are doing it yourself it depends how many friends and if you have a lift

I am in Jacksonville and looking for a reputable place to build mine with Suncoast stage IV parts and TC. Anyone know of someone that I should contact, I know it won't be anyone with the rep of Merchant or Inglewood but I would like them to be experienced with Allison and Suncoast builds.

I kindof did that I got a stage 4 tranny built by PPE and a friend installed it for me on a Saturday night. He charged me $300.00 to do the install which was very cheap. Prices have changed since I bought my PPE tranny, give Dan a call hell be glad to help you with prices and info.

Mike and Eric are both top notch builders but I don't think they will build a tranny and ship it out. When I got my tranny the only options I had was a Suncoast V or PPE. PPE will build you anything from a stage 2 to a stage 5 and ship it to your door.

Not true, I believe MikeL will ship out a transmission. Call him or PM him. Freight is not going to be cheap though.

I gave him a call and he had all he could handle without shiping out trannys. I would have loved to have a Mike L. tranny but I'm not complaining Dan at PPE hooked me up with a awesome tranny at a good price. Although shiping was a bit$$.
