was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this for me, I'm a Cummins owner myself, but have a friend with an 06' Duramax/Allison & he was trying to put a bullydog triple dog downloader ver. 2.2.7 on it, anyone know if this will work?? on the Bullydog site it shows that it's for the GM as well as the Dodge & Ford, but they don't show what fuses to pull on it to load it into his truck, the diagram only says 03'-05' ????? it goes into the screen where it says it's identifting VIN or something & then says it can't communicate with the vehicle?? does he need to pull the fuses it shows for the 03-05 trucks??? thanks alot! make sure its not loaded to another truck or something.. some times navi or radio fuses need pulled

Does he have an LBZ or an LLY because even though its an 06' it could still be an LLY in which he would need to pull the fuses. This still should communicate and copy ecm tune even if the fuses arent pulled so that is not your com. error. The very first thing you need to do is to update the tuner....go to BD's website and it takes about 10 minutes or so and update it and then it will work for sure. This should work just fine on his truck just needs to be updated if you ask me. Make sure when you do plug into your OBD ll port that you leave everything the same....leave doors open the whole time if open, dont turn on or turn off radio etc... and also leave all cig ports off. This will cause a com. error also. Hope this helps, if not let us know.
