I have a 2500 Durmax 2wd and I am getting sterring pop and noise, especially when I turn left. I took it to my Chevy dealer and they greased it and it did no good. They got a new sterring shaft on order. I have been waiting for the part for two months is this normal. I allready got a form to fill out from GM on how I like my service. I have not filled it out yet as it not fixed. I had a 99 GMS 1/2 ton and the same thing went bed and they had the part instock. I am starting to get MAD. I called last week and they have ten on order.

I believe the steering shaft you are referring to is on national back order. It will take some time for them to get one.
