Nice - I've been getting the itch to get my girl into the snow. . . and my daughter too! ;)

I've never air'd down the tires in the snow. Anyone have any input? Not talking about driving on the road, more in the deeper stuff, etc.

If your looking for max snow performance then lowering pressure is a must. With a heavy truck and no beadlocks 15 psi or so should be fine.
You are looking for a nice wide footprint just like sand. With icy conditions then nothing chaining up is the way to go.

Next time I am bringing my crawler out.......much more fun than the D_MAX in the snow.

We are supposed to get some record breaking (for our area) snowfall/rainfall this weekend too.

That dude was a huge pile of s**t just like the rig he was driving. Let's plan a day trip maybe in the next couple of weeks. After these 3 upcoming storms there should be tons more snow.

do you have the white truck?
if not tell the owner to get a clevis for the tow strap. I've pulled a 3/8 chain out of a locked pintle hitch on the dump truck. the hitch is not worn, they just have play in the lock. I'd hate to see someone hurt or a truck messed up because the strap came out of it.

enjoy the fun, I know we do playing out in the fields w/ a couple feet deep snow drifts.

Yeah...thanks for the info. I kinda wondered if it could ever slip out. I normally use a clevis on my other rig. I will just leave on on the strap from now on....:)
